Righteous bystanders once again foiled the plans of capital bag snatchers, preventing what would have been a hefty loss for a Chinese national.
The 42-year-old was crossing a street in the capital’s Sen Sok district to get to the market on Wednesday when two delinquents swooped by and seized her bag containing a king’s ransom – more than $1,000 and a mobile phone.
The frantic woman cried for help, alerting passersby who obstructed and caught the two crooks and handed them over to police.
