Kong Meta, The Phnom Penh Post

An incompetent conman tried to pull the same scam twice, but was arrested yesterday in the capital’s Phnom Penh district when his victim recognised him.
The 25-year-old paid for a few beers with a counterfeit $20, getting free booze and real riel in exchange.
The owner later realised she had been hoodwinked, but fortunately for her, the incorrigible crook came back a few days later to buy phone credit.
The duped dame instead called police who found an additional $90 in bogus bills.
